Organize pages

Split PDF

Split a PDF into selected pages or page ranges.

Processed on your device

How it works

Three simple steps.

Select the PDF you want to split.
Click the scissors between pages where a new file should start, or choose "Split every page".
Download the parts one by one or all together as a ZIP file.

Security and privacy

Your file is processed right here in your browser.

The code that does the work runs in your browser, so your document never leaves your phone or computer. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is kept after you close the page. You can check: once your file is open, switch on airplane mode and the tool still finishes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get every page as a separate PDF?

Yes. Choose "Split every page" and each page becomes its own PDF file.

Can I split a PDF into equal parts?

Yes. Choose "Every few pages" and type a number. For example, 2 makes a new PDF for every two pages.

Can I cut a scanned two-page spread in half?

Yes. Choose "Cut each page in half". Left and right halves (or top and bottom) become separate pages in one PDF.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is processed by your own browser on this device. It is never sent to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

PDFs that only block copying or printing open normally. A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be used here: remove the password with the app that set it, then try again.
