How to Merge PDF Files on Your Phone
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Forms and offices often want one PDF, but your documents are in separate files: an ID card, a certificate and a photo of a receipt. You can join them into one PDF in your phone browser, without installing anything.
Merge PDF files, step by step
- Open the Merge PDF tool in your phone browser and choose two or more PDF files.
- Drag the files, or use the arrows, to put them in the order you want.
- To use only some pages of a file, type them under "Pages to use", for example 1-3, 5.
- Tap "Merge PDF" and download one combined file.
Can I add photos too?
Yes. Add JPG or PNG photos along with your PDFs. Each photo becomes one A4 page in the merged file, in the position you choose.
How many files can I merge?
Up to 50 files and 2,000 pages, with each file up to 100 MB and 300 MB in total. A phone has less memory than a computer, so for very large files merge fewer at a time.
If the merged PDF is too big for a form
Compress it to the size the form asks for, such as 200 KB or 1 MB. To change the page order later, or remove a page, use Organize PDF.
Your documents stay on your phone
ArwaPDF merges the files in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded to a server.
