How to Convert iPhone HEIC Photos to PDF
Last updated: 1 November 2026
iPhones save camera photos as HEIC to use less space. Many websites, offices and Windows computers cannot open HEIC files, so a form may reject them. A PDF opens everywhere.
Convert HEIC to PDF, step by step
- Open the Image to PDF tool in Safari or any browser and choose your HEIC photos. You can mix them with JPG and PNG images.
- Put the photos in the order you want. Each one goes on its own A4 page.
- Download one PDF with all your photos.
Does it work on Windows and Android too?
Yes. If your browser cannot read HEIC by itself, the tool loads a HEIC reader that runs on your device. The photos are converted there, never on a server.
Make your iPhone save JPG instead
If you often need JPG photos, open Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and choose Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG. Photos you already took stay HEIC.
Need a photo for an exam form?
Online forms usually want one photo of an exact size, such as 200 × 230 px and 20–50 KB, not a PDF. The photo resizer makes that from a HEIC photo too.
